  Can I still vote if I haven't registered yet?

  0 1 Unfortunately, the deadline to register to vote has passed. Your voter registration application was due on October 8th and people can also register and vote at the same time during early voting (but that ended on Saturday). Sorry we don't have better news.   Where can I find out which candidates are incumbents?

  0 0 The ballot does not list who is currently an elected official. Take a look at this voter guide to see who is on the ballot in your county: http://www.unctv.org/election/candidates/index.html.   Can I go to a polling place at my current location and still vote in the election for where I am registered?

  0 0 Unfortunately, no. Each polling place has a ballot that is specific for the particular area where it is located. In order to cast a ballot for your home address you would have needed to request an absentee ballot or go in person to your polling place.   When do I vote? What time are the polls open?

  1 0 Election Day is Tuesday, November 2nd. The polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. And voting has already started. Early voting is available until Saturday, October 30th. Anyone can take advantage of early voting. To find an early vote location in your county, click here: http://www.sboe.state.nc.us/content.aspx?id=17. Bonus: During the early voting period, you can register to vote if you aren’t registered at your current address. You can register to vote at one of the early vote location. You must: (1) go to an early voting location in the county of your residence, (2) fill out a voter registration application, and (3) provide proof of residency by showing the elections official an appropriate form of identification with your current name and address.
