In Texas the last day to register to vote for the November 8th, 2011 elections was October 11, 2011. You are not able to register after that day.

Unfortunately, the deadline to register to vote has passed. Your voter registration application was due on October 8th and people can also register and vote at the same time during early voting (but that ended on Saturday). Sorry we don't have better news.

YES! You can register to vote at one of the early voting locations (until October 30th). You must: (1) go to an early voting location in the county of your residence during the early voting period, (2) fill out a voter registration application, and (3) provide proof of residency by showing the elections official an appropriate form of identification with your current name and current address.

This process is not permitted on Election Day itself!
